Peruvian blueberry exports passed 833 million dollars in 2020


Peru's blueberry exports in 2020 had a moderate increase in volume and value when compared to the previous year. According to a report by Agrodata Peru, in 2020 the country exported 155,645,103 kilos of blueberries for a FOB value of 833,137,981 dollars, while in 2019 it exported 122,031,496 kilos for 810,062,300 dollars.

The main destination in 2020 was the United States, with placements for 436,283,155 dollars (52% of total shipments). It was followed by the Netherlands with $ 228,029,327, China with $ 58,045,653, the United Kingdom with $ 51,300,892, Hong Kong with $ 30,824,956, Canada with $ 7,601,099, and other destinations with lower amounts.

The main exporting companies in the field were Camposol SA with sales of $ 129,969,000, Hortifrut Peru SAC with $ 86,663,000, Complejo Agroindustrial Beta SA with $ 64,783,000, Agrovision Peru SAC with $ 62,089,000, Agricola Santa Azul SRL with $ 52,598,000, Agroberries Peru SAC with $ 49,695,000, Danper Trujillo SAC with $ 39,235,000 and Agricola Cerro Prieto SA with $ 4,295,000, among others.
